Brunch in Paris? In the chicest city in a country known for its delicious breakfast foods, there’s an endless list of places to fill your weekend cravings.

At TWISPER, the social network with only positive recommendations, we know that when it comes to finding that perfect Parisian brunch, the countless cafés can be overwhelming.

So, we’ve put together the ultimate guide to brunch in Paris so you can find that mouth-watering, great value, beautifully Instagrammable brunch that you know you deserve.

      The Parisian brunch

For all the croissants and pains aux chocolat in the world, brunch isn’t actually a very French meal. Having said that, more and more classic French bistros are catering to our weekend hangover needs and serving brunch. Here are three beautiful restaurants in the capital where you can enjoy your brunch in true French style.

      Chez Margot

There’s a reason Chez Margot is the most favorited Parisian eatery on TWISPER. Serving contented diners since 1905, this elegant bistro prides itself on its high-quality mouth-watering menu.

Le Brunch, served exclusively on Sundays, is a feast of organic eggs and exquisite patisseries. There’s even a vegan super porridge if you feel like you need vitamins after Saturday night!

      Mon Coco

Mon Coco, in Place de la République, is a traditional Parisian brasserie made cool. Inside, a jungle of plants and a bright graffiti-style mural of Marianne, the symbol of the French Republic, welcome diners to this super hip, very French restaurant.

And what better place to brunch in Paris than somewhere named after the cocorico, the morning wake-up call of the emblematic French coq 🐓? Yes, we know, it’s so much more elegant than cock-a-doodle-do! The brunch menu itself, served daily, offers a delicious contemporary twist on French classics (plus hangover special cocktails and a Nutella tiramisu…).

      Chez Julien

OK, this one might be cheating slightly. Located in Le Marais, Chez Julien doesn’t technically serve brunch: it’s petit-déjeuner à la française, thank you very much.

However, alongside the buttery pastries and tartines are a number of gourmet French versions of brunch menu staples. Salmon avocado croissant, truffle croque-monsieur and salted caramel toasted brioche, anyone? 🤤

      The Insta-perfect brunch

If you’re looking for an aesthetically stunning brunch to fill a few squares in your feed, have we got the places for you. Save these beautiful Parisian cafés to your try outs on TWISPER and plan your Instagram posts and your meals in advance.

      Bon Bouquet

Fair warning: the food here looks *almost* too good to eat. Almost. And when you dig in, you’ll find it tastes as good as it looks. Having spent the summer renovating to make the café even more Insta-friendly, Bon Bouquet re-opens in September to serve delicious homemade brunch every day.

From beautifully arranged smoothie bowls to salmon-avocado toast sprinkled with pomegranate seeds and edible flowers, each dish is finished off with an enchanting flourish. A rainbow of drinks accompanies equally colorful food. We won’t judge you for matching your latte to your outfit 💅

      Café de Flore

The iconic Café de Flore is intrinsically linked with Parisian art, fashion and culture. From the meeting place of surrealist artists in the 1920s to designers in the 60s and Instagrammers today, this place is a favorite of people who know what looks good.

Grab a seat on the terrace under the beautiful flower-covered façade like Kate Moss and Karl Lagerfeld have before you. Order a flaky croissant and a café au lait and watch the world go by as you enjoy your petit déjeneur.

      Immersion Paris

Created by a couple with a passion for food and travel, there’s no wonder we love Immersion Paris. The founders have explored the entire world looking for the best brunch, and we’re pretty sure they found it!

Plus, as experienced Instagrammers themselves, everything is carefully curated to be beautiful on the ‘gram 🤩 we’re dying for their waffles and those incredible chocolate-y cookies!

      The healthy-ish brunch

These spots are ideal when you’re really feeling that vitamin deficiency on a Saturday or Sunday morning after a good night out! They’re healthy-ish though – meaning they’ll also fulfil that craving for tasty tasty junk food.

      Echo

Echo overlaps the brunch genres. Both the minimalist café with its block color wiggly lines and the food itself are seriously Insta-friendly. It’s also seriously tasty. So good you’ll doubt it’s actually healthy.

Brunch is served from Wednesday to Sunday and has a definite Californian vibe. If you’re feeling really angelic, there’s the super fresh Farmers Market Salad… or if you’re on the “ish” side of healthy, there’s always the Double Echo Smash Burger 🍔

      Season

The clue’s in the name of this hip café. Serving good food all day means using the best seasonal produce, and Season does it well. The extensive menu changes every three months to guarantee maximum nutrition from the freshest ingredients.

Whether your preferred order is a colorful açaï bowl, piled-high pancakes or a breakfast burrito, you’ll find a fabulous healthy-ish brunch here.

      Bob’s Bake Shop

“Bob” also has a juice bar and café, but we really like the American-diner style Bake Shop. The hipster bakery is housed in a former warehouse and has a large terrace perfect for sunny days.

Carb-load on Bob’s Bake Shop’s hand-rolled bagels, fruit-filled pie and fluffy pancakes, safe in the knowledge that it is actually healthy (ish) 😋

      The vegan brunch

Long gone are the days where vegans had to request “sans fromage” on the singular vegetarian dish offered in a French restaurant. These days, the Paris vegetarian and vegan scene is booming. Whether you’re 100% plant-based or a red-blooded carnivore, you’ll find something you love on the mouth-watering brunch menus at these hip spots:

      Wholywood Vegan Street Food

Hollywood, but make it wholesome. Organic, homemade, vegan and unbelievably delicious street food. Can Wholywood feed us every day please?

Their simple but adaptable brunch menu is served from 11 am till 3:30 pm from Monday to Saturday. Whatever you get will be seriously good, but the hot dog is out of this world. Make sure to order the flavorful roast potatoes on the side too!

      Ima Cantine

Aside from the brightly colored tile mural decorating the back wall, it’s hard to believe this bright and airy café is housed in a former tiling and plumbing shop. Located next to Canal St Martin, Ima Cantine serves fresh plant-based delights.

It’s vegetarian, so there are dishes like shakshuka on the menu, but a wide range of vegan delights put it high on our list for brunch in Paris!

      Wild & The Moon

A small chain of dedicated vegan eateries in Paris, Wild & The Moon proudly serves 100% plant-based, gluten-free, organic, local and ethically sourced goodness.

The all-day brunch menu is full of treats inspired by the seasons and by travels around the world. Want something special? Order the (literally) Blue Magic Bowl or the Pink Flamingo Granola 🤩
