Mécénat chirurgie cardiaque
TWISPER and you will make the world a better place
Our TWISPER ambassadors have decided to sponsor Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque (MCC) who operates children with heart defects.
We will come back soon with the details of this unique project that will make for children the world a better place.
Who is Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque?
Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque enables children born with heart defects to be operated in France when it’s impossible in their home country, because of technical or financial reasons.
Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque was created in 1996 by Pr. Francine Leca, the first female cardiac surgeon in France. To Francine Leca, the Mécénat means giving children a life when nature had decided otherwise.
- Nearly 3’300 children have been looked after since the creation of the organization.
- 9 French hospitals located all over France take part in this project.
- 300 host families participate to take care of the children during their stay.
Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque is TWISPER’s first engagement towards society. Alongside with Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, we want to help make the world a better place.
